Can I Bring My Own Gun? - Seth Freedman
This is an interesting take on the Israel/Palestine situation from a former soldier in the IDF turned Guardian CIF jornalist. Following his spell in the army, Freedman used his British passport to gain access to the Palestinian side of the Green Line in order to find out what life is like for the people living there. He also travels around the Israeli territory interviewing people on both the left and right wing, settlers, protestors and those trying to find a way to resolve the conflict for everyone. Intelligently written and thought provoking, it doesn't provide many answers but aims to provide readers with a clearer understanding of life in the disputed territory.
