Conceptual Sharks...

The Raw Shark Texts by Steven Hall is a strange, clever, complicated novel. It's also really, really good. The story is complicated and goes back and forth in time as Eric Stevenson attempts to unravel what happened to his memory, his life and his girlfriend with the help of a cat called Ian and a series of slightly suspicious characters. Oh, and he's being stalked by a conceptual shark called the Ludovician that wants to eat him. It's definitely worth a read.
