What to read, what to read next?? Since I finished my last epic read (see previous post) I've been reading what I consider "filler" reading, usually the crime thriller books or what's commonly known as chick lit. I don't consider myself much of a lit snob, but I find fluffy books that end happily ever after and the thriller-esque ones are something I can read in one (short) burst so I don't take them particularly seriously. They're mostly read to fill in the time gaps between one good read and another. A bit like a quick bite of something between meals. Something that's probably not very good for me but I do it anyway. Now all I have to do is pick the next, more substantial, meal of a book from the book mountain on my floor. Or maybe an old friend from the shelves....hmmmm.....Happy Reading fellow bookworms.
