Punk Fiction: An anthology of stories inspired by punk - Janine Bullman (ed.)
Pretty much exactly what it says on the cover, all of these short stories have been inspired by the bands and songs from the punk genre. The book was written in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust, and it's authors include musicians, novelists and other names you might recognise. There are however no stories written by the people who were punk, which might be expected. The editor, Janine Bullman, says this is intentional, she wanted stories written by those who found punk inspirational, and in most of the stories it works. There a few rather odd ones though. It's hard to review a selection of stories like this, so I'll just say it's worth a read, and if you buy a copy it raises money for charity, and a good deed a day is a good way to go!
